I think the idea of having the conference is good but the content is too general. It's good to have the conference as forum for the Vietnamese professionals to share their experience to one another. However, I think the future conferences should include the followings:

1. More technical workshops for people with the same backgrounds. For instance, there should be a workshop for software engineer people. In this workshop, software engineers can talk about their software experience.

2. Project formations. For example, for those who would like to do charity works, there should be a workshop to form a plan on starting a real project. People can sign up for this.

The reason I am suggesting those above points because I saw and heard lots of interesting discussions at the workshop but did not see any plans for real work. I came to the workshop because I wanted to find partners to start up a software project: as we all know, the Vietnamese and the Chinese governments signed the border and South China sea agreements in the last 4-5 years. Every Vietnamese is outraged about this unfair agreement and blamed the Vietnamese government for giving up too much. We, the Vietnamese people living outside Vietname, especially VPS people, have to do something about it, besides writing articles, sending emails? I came up with the following idea: We'll write a simple video game. In this game, the player will command a fleet of Vietnamese warships to defend Paracel (Hoang sa) and Spratly (Truong sa) islands against the Chinese fleet. We'll distribute this game for free to everyone. This will inform people from around the world about the fact that these two islands belong to Vietnamese people.

Also, I came up with the second idea: VPS will design a car sticker. This sticker will have something like : Paracel and Spratly islands belong to Vietnam. We'll send this to every Vietnamese and ask them stick it to their car bumpers to remind the world about these two islands. I borrow this idea from the Tibet people. As many of you know, on the freeways, there are cars with Free Tibet bumper stickers.

With these ideas in mind, I came to the conference searching for do^`ng chi' to do this. But could not find any.

I guess I have to join the VPs local chapter at my place to do this. But if the future conferences can have actual project formations, that would be great
